Edit: Read the bold text

Today, I've taken the time to sort through the group's gallery.  I've removed submissions that have been put into storage, and those that don't seem to have anything to do with pirates.  Living in the sea does not meet the criteria for this group, otherwise we'd have to accept Little Mermaid fanart.  Nothing against The Little Mermaid; I just don't remember any pirates in the story.

If you notice that one of your submissions has been removed, but it does fit the criteria, you may need to tweak the description of your piece to make it clear.  I realize that there are many OCs in this group, which are completely acceptable and many of them are a lot of fun.  The problem with OCs is that I may not be able to recognize the character because I haven't read your story.  Put a link to your piratical story in the artwork's description, and resubmit it to the group.

I would also like to request that cosplayers practice discretion in their submissions.  Choose a few (3 to 5) of your favorite pictures to upload; please don't upload all 30 of the same cosplay.  If the 30 submissions tell a coherent, linear story, have at.

Lastly, I'm going to start creating folders.  The first three on the list are PLUSH, DISNEY, and COSPLAY.  I'll do my best to keep things straight forward so we're not left wondering.  If you have any suggestions on folders, I'm all ears!  Or eyes, as the case may be. If there is a problem with submitting to a particular folder, please let me know. Not everything belongs in the Featured folder.

If you have any questions on any of these topics, feel free to ask.

Cheers!
Again, this one is especially for the ladies.  However, none are barred from the entry.  I just don't think the laddies stand to gain much...unless they're feeling charitable and want to pan over to the donation tab.  Otherwise, this piratical slanket from ThinkGeek can be enjoyed by all.

Ladies, I present to you, the new and improved SPACE PIRATE pattern from LunaPads.com. This is a limited edition print and won't be around for long, so get on board while ye can, mateys!
Wash up, me hearties and make sure that guests wipe their boots at the door. Tracking dirt into the captain's cabin is a floggable offense.
It's that time o' year again! How did ye celebrate?  See any fun shenaniganry around the intarwebs?  LibraryThing had a right shindig, for the day. :pirate:
i have no idea how they celebrate.
